We’re living in times of great change – some changes are good, some not so good. Many changes we have no control over and must just suffer the consequences. There is one change that we can choose for ourselves, one change that brings us nothing but lasting benefit.

Have you made the one change that’s life transforming and lasts for ever?

This change is offered to you and me and absolutely everyone because of Jesus. It’s offered freely, but it came at a great price, paid by Jesus on the cross. This is what we celebrate at Easter.

Jesus’ death on the cross means that each one of us can be forgiven for the things we’ve done wrong and live a new life as a child of God. God’s forgiveness is as perfect as his love, our past mistakes aren’t just forgiven – God chooses to forget that we ever made them – He gives us a completely fresh start. Jesus didn’t stay in the tomb, God raised him to life again and he lives forever, giving us his help and power to live our lives well.

This is the change available to absolutely everyone because of Jesus. If you haven’t done so yet, make this Easter the time when you welcome the forgiveness, love and power of Jesus into your life.
